Martin O’Neill is a singer/songwriter based in Marin County.  As a youth he was lead singer in “Chelsea Sidecar”, a group of teens who formed the band in the mid sixties. They went on to perform at the California Exposition Battle of the Bands and, out of 300 bands, they came in third.

O’Neill started writing seriously in the seventies and worked with various local players.  He formed “Magmo Music” with Bruce Maglione and would write and record as well as play local gigs such as New George’s in San Rafael.  They have a catalog of over 70 songs.

In the eighties and nineties O’Neill worked with Tom Walsh and his band Stone Cold and formed a songwriting team called “Martom Music”.

More recently Martin has written and produced a number of original songs and practices and performs with Jerry Draper and & Friends Band.
